Technology to Assist Completion of More Japanese Water Projects In The Future: Ken Research

Japan is a country which is known for constructing infrastructure efficiency within the targeted time period. Japan is that stable in terms of water infrastructure construction currently that it is also planning to help Cambodia for designing their water infrastructural projects in an efficient and effective manner.
In ancient times, some piped water supply system had been manufactured using wood pipes in Japan and back in 1887, through surface water (which was treated by sand filter), the first modern pipe water system was launched in the country. After Second World War, there had been an increase in the pipe water supply due to a rise in water-borne diseases like cholera, dysentery and typhoid and today, the country is able to meet all kinds of innovative water infrastructure construction needs.
According to the report, “Water Infrastructure (Construction) in Japan: Market Analytics by Category & Cost Type to 2021”, Water infrastructure category is categorized under construction of utility and drinking water treatment and infrastructure of storage and distribution. Aqueducts, distribution lines, irrigation system, desalination plants, filtration plants and reservoirs, etc. are included in water infrastructure. This category excludes hydro power plant as well as dam construction.
For formation of a modern state, the rapid economic growth in Japan’s investment and construction in water infrastructure have played a significant role. All these construction and related developments have been done with the aim to achieve improvement and growth in the living standards of Japanese. Many developments have taken place in water infrastructural market recently and there is an arising need for more enhancements in the construction as Tokyo will be hosting the next Olympics.
To get prepared for successful Olympics in Tokyo, it is very important for the country to assess present conditions of existing infrastructure and projects to be undertaken in future. It is important to identify whether the infrastructure is still serviceable or not. It is very crucial to make sure that there would be no water shortage in the coming Olympics in Tokyo. This is one of the major concerns for the government of Japan because during summer Olympics in 1964, there had been a water shortage in Tokyo and the city was called “Tokyo Desert”.
Various technologies have been already developed and some are still developing to extend the life of pipeline. Sonic waves are been used to inspect the techniques and Sewage Pipeline Renewal (SPR) method is also used for pipeline. SPR is also used to renew agriculture water pipes and industrial waste water pipes without replacement. In future, there will be demand for improved water infrastructure at low prices. There are still many challenges in making decisions regarding water infrastructure in Japan.
In the forecast period, more development and construction completions are expected till 2020. There will be amelioration in the efficiency levels of water supply mainly because of the coming Olympics in Tokyo. Also, companies investing in water infrastructural construction as well as the government are working towards developing new innovational techniques that will help the market advance well on a whole.
